Overview

Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè was founded in time immemorial, reportedly some time durring the late 7th century, by Glel Zlèqte. The establishment of Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè's construction back out of the project. Glel Zlèqte pushed on reguardles, and Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 7th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè is no diffrent. The village's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè is buildings are located arround a single premissive paverstone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the village a over all circular shape. The village emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè's somewhat suffishent are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè has the unmistakable air of a village on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè ’s existence has dried up and the village is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. On top of this is an unmistakable feeling that Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè is in this condition because there is something terribly wrong with the village. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine which makes you worry someone might stab you in a dark ally for your boots. It’s not filthy, or dark, but the smiles seem strained, the locals seem to glare daggers in eachothers backs a little too much, and everyone is armed at all times. You may want to keep an eye on your valuables, and make sure you don’t wind up in any position of power. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè long.

Cultural Notes

Fìkh Yǐslo Hirè's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
